Frame: Happy Father’s Day!

My dad doesn’t do a lot of cooking – it’s my mom that gets all of the recipe mentions on this blog. She’s the one who taught me to make sauce, and pumpkin bread, and artichoke dip, and brownies. But today is Father’s Day, so I want to take a minute to say thank you to the man who taught me many things that do not involve cooking.

 

Thank you Dad, for teaching me by example to be generous, and hard-working, and charitable, and kind, and for teaching me that girls can do anything – even cook, if they want.
